Image Watermark

1. Choose one image. Drag and drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP file onto the box, or select one from your device. A preview appears.
2. Type your watermark text, choose a position, and adjust opacity, font size, and text color to taste. Pick an output format — the same as your input, or convert to JPG, PNG, or WebP — and a quality setting if you picked JPG or WebP.
3. Select Download watermarked image. The image is read, watermarked, and re-encoded in your browser, and the result downloads immediately — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What Image Watermark does: it draws your own text onto a single JPG, PNG, or WebP image, at a position you choose, entirely on your device, with no sign-up and no extra branding — only your own text is added. It does not resize, crop, or otherwise edit the image beyond drawing the text and (if you choose a different output format or quality) re-encoding it.

Watermark position options. Five anchor positions are available: top left, top right, center, bottom left, and bottom right. There is no free-drag placement or repeated/tiled watermark — pick the anchor closest to where you want the text.

Opacity and font size. Opacity ranges from 10% (barely visible) to 100% (fully solid), default 50%. Font size is in pixels, default 32px. Both affect only the watermark text — the underlying image is drawn at full opacity and its original size.

Text color. Enter a six-digit hex color (for example #ffffff for white, the default, or #000000 for black). Choose a color with enough contrast against your image for the watermark to actually be visible in your chosen position.

Best use cases. A visible text watermark is useful for product photos before listing them on a marketplace, images shared on social media, website graphics, portfolio samples, and AI-generated images you want to visibly mark as your own before sharing.

What this tool does not do. It adds a visible text watermark only — it does not embed a hidden or cryptographic mark, and it does not prove ownership or create legal copyright protection by itself. It does not support a logo or image watermark, drag-to-position placement, a repeated or tiled watermark, or rotation, and it handles one image per run — there is no batch watermarking or ZIP download. Watermark appearance may also vary slightly by browser, since font rendering is not identical everywhere.

Browser-based processing. No file upload is required for this tool — the image you select is read, watermarked, and re-encoded on your own device, and the result downloads without ever leaving it. Browser image encoders may produce different file sizes across browsers for the same input and settings, and metadata such as camera and location data is not preserved after export. Very large images may fail because of browser memory limits.

Common errors. A specific, plain-English message explains exactly what went wrong: no image selected, a file that isn't a JPG, PNG, or WebP, a file over the size limit, no watermark text entered, watermark text that's too long, or an image file that can't be read. Do not use this tool for images you are not allowed to process.
